With an extensive career spanning 18 years, Mr. Kumar is a highly experienced and versatile professional with a proven track record in various domains, including Avionics, Consumer Electronics, Home Automation, IoT, Automotive, and Telecommunication. His expertise ranges from technical management to software development, research and system solutions.

Professional Experience:

He currently serves as Director – Software at Embdes Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd since August 2023. He plays a pivotal role in overseeing software development and system solutions for a wide range of industries. Prior to this, he held several significant positions, including Technical Manager at Embdes Engineering Solutions Pvt Ltd (Nov 2019 – Nov 2021), and Systems and Solutions Engineer at EmbDes Technologies Pvt Ltd (Oct 2015 – Nov 2019).

He began his Embedded journey as Senior Research Fellow in Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bangalore one of the DRDO Organization under MoD, GoI. His earlier career includes academic roles as an Assistant Professor from Jun 2010 to Jun 2015.

Software and Technical Expertise:

His software development experience encompasses a broad array of technical skills and project management capabilities. He has led projects through all stages, from requirement capture and architecture design to testing, validation, and customer interaction. He has worked on stack development, customization, and porting, including J1939 and UDS 14229 protocols.

His software development expertise spans various controller and processor platforms, including Baremetal applications, RTOS, driver development, SecureBoot, Bootloaders, Middleware, and more. Additionally, he has worked extensively on Linux and OpenWRT-based platforms, contributing to software developments that comply with functional safety and cybersecurity standards.

Research Areas and Publications:

His research interests focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and AI Security. His work has been published in several prestigious international journals and conferences. Notably, he has authored the paper “Design of E-Nose for Allergic Determinations Using SNN for SOC Implementation”, which was published in the International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research (May 2014). He has also contributed to the IEEE Digital Library with a paper titled “Power Gating in FinFET Adiabatic Circuits”, presented at the 2014 International Conference on Green Computing, Communication, and Electrical Engineering (ICGCCEE).

In addition to these, he has authored various conference papers, with a few more in progress.

In addition, he obtained a Master Diploma in Information Technology (MDIT) from the Government of India in 2002.
